Maria Despoina Argyrou holds a PhD in Economics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a master’s in public administration from Columbia University. Her research focuses on income inequality, green finance, and public development policy. She has collaborated with research institutions and universities in Greece and internationally—including in Rome, Dubai, and New York—and has held positions in both the public sector (Public Employment Service) and the private sector with multinational consulting firms. She has published in international journals and participated in numerous research projects and academic conferences.

George Kyrkos is a Research Fellow at the Laboratory of International Economics and Development (IEDL), National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. His work supports undergraduate teaching in Development Economics, Economic Growth, and International Economics, integrating theoretical frameworks, empirical research, and real-world data. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Economics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and works in the banking sector, with prior experience in audit and finance. Konstantinos I. Linardatos is a doctoral candidate in Economics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. His research interests include monetary policy, central bank credibility, and applied econometrics. He has served as a teaching assistant and contributed to collaborative research and data analysis. His professional background includes roles in finance and research support. His dissertation investigates how credibility conditions influence policy transmission in contemporary monetary frameworks, with empirical applications to inflation expectations and term-structure dynamics.

Konstantinos Piettas is a PhD Candidate at the Department of Economics of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He holds academic degrees in Economics, Project Management, and Business Administration from the University of Thessaly, the University of Ioannina, Staffordshire University (UK), and the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. His academic and professional background spans project management, economic consulting, and public sector financial analysis. His research focuses on the conceptual and empirical dimensions of economic development and growth, with particular emphasis on the application of quantitative and statistical methodologies to economic and HR policy, management studies, and applied economic research.

Ioannis Stavrou holds academic qualifications in Financial and Political Economy, as well as in Data Science, and is a CFA charter holder. He has over six years of experience in asset management, pension funds, and banking, with a focus on analytics and risk management across institutions in the Netherlands and Greece. He currently serves as a Market Risk Specialist at Alpha Bank. His previous roles include Portfolio Manager positions at APG Asset Management, Robeco, and NBG Asset Management. Ioannis combines strong analytical skills with deep expertise in financial markets, investment risk, and economic frameworks.

Anastasios Tsarpalis holds a Master’s in Economic Science and is a PhD candidate in the Department of Economics at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He has professional experience as an analyst and consultant on digital transformation projects for public and private sector organizations. He has contributed to large-scale public digital transformation initiatives, applying business and data analysis methods and data-driven approaches. His research interests and dissertation focus on the role of digital transformation and institutions (both formal and informal) in economic convergence and sustainable development in developing and developed economies.
